Lyra Aquacolor Crayon Class

1.  Choose three colors of crayons, ones that are NEXT to each other on a color wheel.  Avoid the colors that are across from one another on the colorwheel as they will muddy when combined.
2.  Color the center of the card stock(1/4 size, so you will get 4 backgrounds out of a full sheet of card stock) starting with the lightest color, next color and finally the darkest color.
3.  Lightly spritz card stock and move  the color around with your finger starting at the center and blend the colors outward.  DO NOT GET THE CARD STOCK TOO WET as it will cause the card stock to curl.  However, if this happens, place the cards under some heavy books when dry.
4.  Air dry the piece or very carefully dry with a heat tool.  This piece is then your background paper.
5. When it is dry, stamp over it with an art stamp of your choice in permanent black ink (Memories). Faces and butterflies look great with this technique.
6. After stamping, you can add detail to the image with the Lyra Crayons. (I have, also, added a bit of color with my Le Plume markers). Dry completely.
7. When piece is dry, add a thin layer of Diamond Glaze on top of your stamped image, spreading with your finger. You may use a brush if you want.
8. While this is wet, sprinkle with a little fine glitter and stars, but do not over-do.
9.  Set it aside to dry thoroughly.
10.  When completely dry, trim the finished piece as needed and layer it on card.

Voila!  Done!
