STAMP-N-TELL
GETTING TO KNOW YOU
***LORRI RACHEL SHAPIRO***
1. Tell us a little about yourself, your family, your job, your home, etc.
My favourite subject is other people...in fact I even have a Master's degree in Social work.  I do not enjoy talking about myself very much, but I will answer with the least amount of rebellion that I can muster.  I am now a stay at home mommy with one child who I occasionally mention, little Dylyn.  My husband, Scott, is a gem and we have been married to one another for 13 years.  My home is very pretty and at any given time you can either find me in the kitchen or underwater in the pool. We have two enormous sized dogs--Blizzard and Melvin.
2. How did you first get involved in stamping?
I was at a scrapbooking store and found a little teeney section with rubber stamps.  I abruptly deserted scrapbooking and become obsessively compulsively enamored with stamping AND stampers.
3. What is your favorite technique?
This is easy--begging Laurel, Linda, Connie and Michele to make images for me and then "Xyroning" them on backgrounds.I take full credit usually, and they let me.
4. What is your favorite card you have ever made: one you are the proudest of?
Helen bought me a stamp a few years ago that says "Please Send chocolate" and I added this to a silly looking lady stamp I have with google eyes.  It is on my mother in law's refrigerator.

5. What are your favorite stamp companies and why?

Pretty sure most of the images that my ghost stampers make me are from Peddler's Pack, Impression Obsession and Magenta.I have no identity of my own, but, if I did--it would be VLVS.
6. What are your favorite type images you use in stamping?
Either completely ridiculously silly or gorgeous and prissy.
7. What are your favorite colors?
Aqua, Teal, Turquoise and Jade.
8. What is one dream you have that you wish could come true?
That I would not be so excruciatingly shy and LindaE and I would plan (AND ATTEND) a Stamp and Tell cruise for fifty or so of my closest friends.
9. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Apathy.
10. Anything else you would like to share? Like things you collect, things that make you happy, and so on?
I collect just about anything that does not collect me first.
