STAMP-N-TELL
GETTING TO KNOW YOU
***
LESLIE ANDERSON***
How did you first get involved in stamping?
I just happened to be walking past the classroom in Michael's while a stamp class (with only one student) was taking place.  The instructor invited me in to take a look and the rest is history.  Turns out the instructor was also a Stampin' Up demonstrator and many parties and lots of money later, I discovered the rest of the stamping world.

What is your favorite technique(s)?
Tough question...I like everything!  I guess my favorites would be DTP, embossing, stippling and polished stone.

What is your favorite card you have ever made; one you are the proudest of?

I was pretty happy with my early attempts with the Stamp in the Hand pears, but I also really like one of the Christmas cards I made this year using the Claudine Hellmuth Christmas stamps.

What are favorite stamp companies and why?
Magenta, Stamper's Anonymous, Anima, Claudine Hellmuth (Stampington), the Australian line carried by Limited Edition (name escapes me right now!), A Stamp in the Hand, and I guess I could go on and on.  I like the artsy type stamps best, but I really have pretty diverse taste when it comes to stamps.

What are your favorite type images you use in your stamping?
Artsy is my favorite.  I really like different background stamps and I've really gotten into oriental lately.

What are your favorite colors?
I really like most colors.  I guess besides neutral colors, I like blues, greens and purples the best.

What other hobbies do you enjoy?
I like all kinds of paper arts, making mini books, clay arts, and I'm just getting into altered books.

What is one dream you have that you wish could come true?
Besides things like world peace, I would really like to have the time to do more of the things I enjoy.

What is your biggest pet peeve?
Dishonest people and those who are nice to your face, but say something entirely different behind your back.  I really don't like to hear people complain and whine either.

Anything else you would like to share? Like things you collect, things that make you happy, and so on.
Other things I collect are mohair teddy bears, snowmen, Santa's, paper, books, etc.  Being on this list makes me happy!  It's something I look forward to every day!
