INSTRUCTIONS:
This is the technique that Mitra of Impression Obsession created.  I have reprinted some of the directions directly from her website--WITH her permission, of course. http://www.impression-obsession.com.

1.  Stamp your images on the mulberry paper with either a Clear embossing pad or Ranger resist pad.  Since this will be clear on white enlist the help of a small child (or a microscope) to help you see them.
2.  Emboss the images with regular clear embossing powder.  Dismiss the small child or put away the microscope if you can see the images now.
3.  Lay the paper in your tray or cookie sheet (the sheet is used to contain the paint and water). Consume multiple Snickers brownies from the other cookie sheet (in the kitchen).
4.  Spritz the paper lightly with water. You will need to practice to see how much water to use. If you use a lot of water, you will get lovely blended colors, but it will be hard to control the paint. If you are trying to colour in an image, you will want to use less water.  If you did not dismiss the small child spritz them also.
5.  Apply your rubber gloves and using a brush saturated with water and paint, begin painting the mulberry paper. Remember that the paint will dry lighter than it looks while it is wet. Because this is a resist technique, the darker the color you use, the sharper the image will appear.
6.  Allow the paper to dry naturally.  Eat more Snickers brownies.
7.  Because the embossed images are transparent, to see the image the most clearly it is necessary to attach the mulberry paper to a piece of white paper or cardstock. Alternate the backgrounds and have fun seeing how completely different the images appear.
8.  Send completed cards to Lorri Rachel Shapiro for mushy accolades.
