SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Card Sample #I - Lyra watercolor crayons, permanent ink & Rox, beads or other embellishments.

PART I
This technique uses the artist's "scribble" skills.
1.  Take two or three different color crayons and scribble away directly on the rubber.  Don't try to color certain areas with specific colors, mix it all up.
2.  Take your spray bottle of water and spritz the rubber (about 1 or 2 good sprays) then stamp your image on some white cs.
3.  Now ink your same stamp with permanent ink and overstamp the same image.  Don't use a positioner, it should be off set a little.
4.  Take a damp brush (or waterbrush) and pull out some of that watercolor where needed.

The December 2000 issue of Vamp Stamp News features this same stamp and a similar technique on page 13.  Instead of the watercolor crayons they suggest stamping the image once or twice in a few pale colors of dye ink and then overstamping in black.

PART II
1.  Start with a copy of a stamped image (you want a photocopy from a copy machine that uses toner).  A large backgroud stamp is fun and so is a collage stamp.
2.  Take the backing off your piece of cold laminte and smooth your photocopy face down on the sticky side.  Smooth it out real good with your bone folder.
3.  Now take your spray bottle of water and spritz the paper side of the laminate pretty good and rub most of the paper off with your fingers.  Dunking into water is not a good idea because it will take off too much paper.  If you rub off too much paper, don't worry that's what the Krylon pen is for - later.
4.  Take a few different crayon colors and scribble different areas on the wrong side of this laminate piece.  You want whatever paper fuzz left here to absorb the color.  Now spritz with water and rub or smush the color into the paper fuzz.
5.  The color won't adhere to areas where all the paper was removed so use your Krylon metallic pen and fill in those areas.
6.  Cut your finished piece into squares or difference shaped pieces.  You can edge the pieces with squiggle lines of the same Krylon pen and mount on your card with double stick tape or pop dots.
7.  Now embellish however.  I love Judikins new Roxs.  To adhere them they suggest using their Diamond Glaze and then dumping the Rox on top.  Don't shake off the excess until the Diamond Glaze is dry.  About 20 minutes.

PART III
This technique is a version of making a Utee tile.
1.  Use white Utee and build up about 3 or 4 layers of Utee.
2.  Let the tile cool and then scribble (I'm into scribble tonight) a crayon or two on the surface of your tile.
3.  Take your heat gun and heat the tile until molten and then you will see the scribbles start to move around and take on the appearance of marble.
Voila!

I read about another way - use your Marvy Metallic pens (those real fat ones) to scribble and when heated it is supposed to look like ribbons.
